We have been hearing about Nokia’s upcoming Windows tablet for a long time, although we didn’t manage to get any authentic information related to device yet. But thank to the technological blog The Verge, we’re in position to deliver some exclusive information regarding the tablet now.
According to the blog, the upcoming Nokia’s Windows RT tablet, codenamed Sirius will come with 10.1-inch display with 1920 x 1080 resolution and sunlight readability, and will pack Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32 GB of expandable memory.
In addition to these, the tablet will include 6MP camera on the back and 2MP shooter at the front. The tablet will also feature powerful battery along side a Micro HDMI connector, a Micro USB port and LTE support.
This is not all; Nokia is also looking forward to ship a keyboard accessory with its “Sirius” tablet that includes a battery for additional charging. According to the sources of the blog, Nokia Sirius will be most probably launched on September 26 at a press event held in New York, and the tablet is expected to be priced comparatively with Apple’s iPad.
Since there’s no official confirmation on the report, we take it with a pinch of salt at the moment. In addition to the Nokia Sirius, the company has also planned a 6-inch monster Windows powered smartphone which could be launched next month, and looking forward to launch more later this year.
