Expanding its QCore series, XOLO has announced a new Android based smartphone in India today. Dubbed as XOLO Q1000S, the smartphone is priced at INR Rs.18,999, and will hit the shelves in few coming days, as per the company.


The smartphone was earlier reported to be priced at INR Rs.16,999, but keeping the current depreciation of Indian currency in mind, the company has decided to price it slightly higher.

If we talk about the specifications of the smartphone then as per the company’s press release, XOLO Q1000S comes with 5-inch 720p HD display, and is powered by 1.5GHz MTK 6589T quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB internal media storage, and 2,500 mAh battery.

It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean platform and packs 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera (both with BSI sensors) in just 6.98mm thick chassis. On the connectivity front, it features Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, WLAN support, and micro USB.

With these specifications, the smartphone will be competing with Micromax Canvas 4 A210 and Samsung Galaxy Grand smartphones.
