After announcing the budget Android smartphone A24 last month, Videocon has announced the release of yet another smartphone in India today. Dubbed as Videocon A42, the smartphone has been officially priced at INR Rs.7,490 and will be available for purchase in the country in few coming days.

According to the press release issued by the company, Videocom A42 features 4.5-inch FWVGA capacitive multi-touch display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal memory.

Powered by a 1700 mAh battery, Videocon A42 also includes 5MP Rear camera, 1.3 MP front camera, dual-SIM support, FM radi and microSD support up to 32GB. For connectivity, it supports 3G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.

Apart from these, the smartphone comes preloaded with the apps like Saavn, Hungama & Fun Zone and V-Store application mall to get more Android apps on the phone.
