Asus seems to be gearing up for the launch of plethora of HD tablets in coming days. While the exact release date and specifications of the devices are not official, an South African retailer has managed to leak the specifications of upcoming three Asus tablets– FonePad HD 7, MeMo Pad HD 10 and MeMo Pad FHD 10 LTE. Apart from the internal details of the devices, the retailer has also quoted the expected prices of the tablets in his leak.
According to the retailer listing, Asus FonePad HD 7 (ME372CG-1B015A/11B016A) will pack 7-inch IPS display with 1280x800p resolution, Android 4.2, 1.6GHz processor Intel Clover Trail Plus Z2560, 1GB RAM, 5MP rear camera, 1.2MP front camera, 3G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. It is expected to be priced at 3,170 Rands ($316) for 16GB version and 3,705 Rands ($371) for 32GB version.
On the other hand, Asus MeMo Pad HD HD 10 (ME102A-1A008A) tablet will feature 10-inch IPS display with OGS/GFF and 1280x800p resolution, Android 4.2, 1.6GHz quad-core Rockchip 101 processor, , 2MP rear camera, 1.2MP front camera, 1GB DDR3 RAM, 8GB internal storage, 3G and Wi-Fi. It is expected to be priced at 3,240 Rands ($324).
As far as Asus MeMo Pad FHD 10 LTE (ME302KL-1A001A) tablet is concerned, it will boast 10-1-inch 1920X1200p display, Android 4.2, 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 5MP rear camera, 1.2MP front camera, 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It is expected to be priced around 6,345 Rands ($636).
In addition, the retailer notes that the all upcoming Asus tablet will come bundled with 5GB of lifetime Asus web storage and 1 year of manufacturer warranty.
As of now, there is still no word on the exact launch date of these tablets, but considering the IFA event next month, we can expect to hear something soon from Asus.
