We have been hearing about LG’s rumoured tablet for some time now, although no one has come forward to reveal the details yet. But thanks to Techblog.gr for disclosing the specifications as well as the launch plan of the company, we’re in position to deliver some information about the device.
The blog claims that the LG’s upcoming tablet will be dubbed as LG G Pad and will pack 8.3-inch 1920x1200p resolution IPS display, quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM as well as latest version of Android (most probably Android 4.2.2).
According to the blog, the LG G Pad it is going to be a very thin device with even smaller bezels. It won’t support voice-calling and will come with aluminium back.
The blog expects that the LG G Pad might be launched at IFA trade fair next month, and if it turns out to be true it will take on the likes of Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 and the upcoming Apple iPad Mini.
