Backing our earlier report, the press render of Nvidia’s upcoming Tegra Tab has been emerged in China. The images of the alleged tablet has been leaked on a Chinese website MyDrivers and the posted renders suggest it to be a 7-inch tablet having design inspired by Nvidia’s recently launched gaming console Shield. On the back of the Tab, a camera sensor (most probably of 5MP), headphone jack, microUSB and microHDMI ports and Stylus slot are clearly visible.
The remaining key features of the Tegra Tab are still a mystery at the moment, but speculations are rife that the company will include latest Android 4.3 and Tegra 4 processor in this budget tablet.
The Verge notes that NVIDIA had registered Tegra Tab trademark at U.S. Patents and Trademarks Office (USPTO) back in April 2013, so the appearance of these images does not seem all that surprising.
In the related news, Nvidia is also making a self branded high-end tablet which could be launched in the first quarter next year. Nvidia is reported to use Tegra 5 SoC (better known as Logan) in this high-end tablet.
