After announcing F53S & F351 Android smartphones last month, Fly Mobile has now released yet another dual-SIM (GSM+GSM )Android smartphone–Fly F40+ in the Indian market today. Fly F40+ is an entry level smartphone which is priced at 4,999. As per the company, the phone will be available for purchase via online as well as retail outlets across the country in few coming days.
Announcing the product, Rahul Goel, chief executive officer, Fly Mobile noted in a press release:
The market is inclined towards Smartphones more than ever. Amidst myriad high end smartphones taking over the market, the common man is still waiting for an affordable option that can make his life easy. We have designed Fly F40+ to fulfill this dream of the people.
According to the press release issued by the compnay, Fly F40+ boasts
4-inch WVGA display, and packs 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM. It runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and includes dual-SIM support, 3MP rear camera, front camera, and 1200 mAh battery. It has 180MB of internal storage, microSD card slot and the usual set of connectivity options, however there is no 3G support.
