Propelling its Aspire series to the next level, Lemon Mobile has now announced a new 3D Android-based in Indian market today. Dubbed as Lemon Aspire 3D A3, the smartphone is priced at 12,000 and offers glass-free 3D experience.
Lemon Aspire 3D A3 boasts 4.3-inch 3D touch screen display with qHD resolution of 960 x 540 pixel, and runs on Android 4.0 ICS platform backed by 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 4GB in-built internal memory.
The phone also houses an 8 megapixel camera at the back and a 2 megapixel camera in the front, and comes along with a 1650 mAh battery and usual set of connectivity features.
Lemon Aspire 3D A3 will be competing with the like of Micromax Canvas 3D which is available at 9,590, in the Indian market.
Along with the price advantage Micromax’s offering has a bigger 5-inch display, a 2000 mAh battery and more advanced Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. However, the Lemon offering comes with better RAM (Canvas 3D has 512 MB), better camera (compared to the 5 megapixel unit on Micromax), and also better display resolution (Micromax gets WVGA 800 x 480 pixel resolution). However, if Micromax Canvas 3D is any experience to go by we don’t think the time is right to launch 3D phones. Canvas 3D’s 3D is such a headache inducing experience we are hardly inclined towards a new offering, but if Lemon has managed to get rid of that problem, then it won’t be a difficult task to counter the Micromax offering even if it is priced higher.
