Videocon A24 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean platform and is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 256MB RAM and 512MB of internal memory, further expandable up to 32GB via microSD cars slot.

Coming to the snappers that adorn the handset, a front-mounted VGA lens can come in handy for the purpose of making video conferencing calls and capturing self portraits, while the rear-facing 3.2MP shooter can be employed for capturing images and videos.

It packs 1450 mAh battery rated to offer 4 hours of talk time in 2G, and comes with the connectivity features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, micro USB, and A-GPS with Google Map support.

Key specifications of Videocon A24:

  1. 4.0-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display
  2. Dual SIM, Dual Standby
  3. Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean)
  4. 1.2GHz dual-core processor
  5. 256 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM
  6. 3.2 MP Rear Camera & 0.3 MP front camera
  7. 1450 mAh battery
  8. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi & GPRS/EDGE
  9. FM Radio with Recording
  10. Expandable Memory upto 32GB
  11. V Store for getting links of popular apps like Facebook, WhatsApp etc.
  12. Preloaded Apps like Times of India, Hungama & Fun Zone

At this affordable price, Videocon A24 seems a pretty descent device as the presence of Android 4.2 and 1.2GHz dual-core processor is appealing. The only downside of the phone is its low 256 MB RAM and we’re not sure if Android 4.2 will run fine on such meager amount of RAM.
