Prolific leaker @evleaks has revealed the specs of those alleged devices, and according to @evleaks Samsung SM-P900 and P600 (the model numbers of 12-inch and 10-inch tablets), both the tablet will come with 2560×1600 screen resolutions.
In his tweet, @evleaks even mentioned the some of the specifications of the tablets in short. As per the leaker, apart from 12.2-inch display, Samsung SM-P900 will come powered by Exynos 5 Octa processor. On the other hand, the 10-inch model Samsung SM-P600 will pack Snapdargon 800 chipset.
Another technology site, RB Men has also published specifications of the alleged 12.2-inch model variant of the Samsung tablet dubbed as SM-P900. The site suggests that the SM-P900 tablet will run Android 4.2.
In related news, Samsung is also busy in developing next generation Nexus 10 tablet in association with Google, which is said to have 10-inch display. But now with these alleged devices, Samsung seems to be preparing its own large display tablets. However this is not the first time we’re hearing about these Samsung’s devices. In the earlier report, the 12-inch tablet was rumoured to come with displays made with IGZO (Indum-Gallium Zinc Oxide) technology and manufactured by Sharp.
However there is no official word on the alleged tablets, but if sources familiar with the matters are to be believed, Samsung’s these tablets will arrive in the market somewhere in Q3 this year.
