The fourth generation (4G) of mobile technology has become quite famous with increasing number of people using it. The Chinese manufacturer of networking and telecommunication equipments Huawei has announced that it is working on the fifth generation (5G) which will be made ready to be used by 2020. The company said it has assigned 200 technocrats to work on the 5G project. The company however declined to answer the amount it will be spending on the development of the 5G technology.

By 2020, there will be billions of connections and 5G can provide massive connectivity. The technology will enable people to have a fibre network like user experience on a wireless connection. It can provide speed of 10 GBps, which is 100 times faster than the mobile technology used these days.
Huawei is also currently testing speed-test on its 4G technology on running super speed MagLev train in Shanghai. 4G-LTE wireless technology is deployed on the train which runs from the center of the Shanghai district to the International Airport. The track length is 31 km and the train attains an average speed of 431 km per hour.
Huawei currently supplies networking equipments to 85 telecom networks using 4G-LTE technology. It claims to provide a maximum download speed of 50 MB per second.
The South Korean tech rival Samsung is also not behind the 5G race. It has also announced to have successfully test 5G technology that will be released in the market by 2020.
