Today, prolific leaker evleaks has come forward to reveal the first images of Google’s upcoming tablet Nexus 7 II, which is reportedly scheduled to be launched on July 24 along with Android 4.3. These posted press renders of Nexus 7 II are pretty clear and provide better look at this upcoming tablet, which seems to have seen quite some changes since the original Nexus 7.
The rear of the Nexus 7 II tablet is especially different from the original, Google and Asus seems to have gone with a smoother matte back rather than leathery & grippy back texture in the previous iteration of this tablet.
In pics, You can also easily spot the front and rear cameras, notification light, double speakers (probably stereo), audio jack, mic, power button, volume rocker, Nexus/ Asus branding and what seems to be a SIM card slot.
To remind, Nexus 7 II is reported to feature 7-inch 1080p display, Android 4.3, 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 5MP rear camera, and 1.2MP front camera. It is also said to include wireless charging support as well as Slimport for 1080p output.
