A new leak related to Google’s upcoming next generation Nexus 7 has come ahead suggesting that the device will include wireless charging support just like Nexus 4 smartphones. Considering the recent interest among manufacturers to include wireless charging in more and more portable devices, it does not seem surprising.
The current leak, appeared via Engadget, suggests that the Nexus 7 II will come with the latest unannounced Android 4.3, 7-inch display, 5MP primary camera, 1.2MP front camera, and Slimpoert for 1080p output.
In addition, the leak also confirms the presence of 1.5GHz quad-core (more likely to be Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro or Snapdragon 600 ) processor in the Nexus 7 II that we reported earlier. In this leak, there’s no clue about the embedded RAM, but if some previous rumour is to be believed Nexus 7 II will pack 2GB of RAM.
There is still no word on the specs of the device from Google. Google might reveal all the details of Nexus 7 II on July 24 at a press event where new Android boss Sundar Pichai is expected to announce the device as well as the next version of Android, i.e Android 4.3.
