Motorola is finally going to announce its much awaited flagship Moto X smartphones next month. The company has started dispatching invitations for the tech press in U.S for the launch event which is scheduled to be held on August 1 in New York City.
Moto X is said to be the first smartphone which has totally been assembled in the U.S after the search giant Google acquired Motorola Mobility in 2011.
We have been facing a lot of rumours and leaks from past few days about the Moto X smartphone, and we almost know everything from features to specifications regarding the smartphone. However the latest report published by The Verge, who almost confirmed the specs, is worth considering.
In the report, The Verge claims that, someone with access to CDMA version of Moto X has told them that Moto X features around 4.5-inch display (it is 4.4-inch as per earlier leaks), Android 4.2.2, 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon MSM8960T processor, 2GB of RAM, and comes packed with a removable back.
In addition, the phone is also reported to have always-on listening mode which recognizes commands and an Auto HDR mode in the camera. Even though there are no details about the camera, it might feature a 10MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera according earlier leaks. Similar to Samsung Galaxy S4, Moto X will also provide a summary of notifications (and the current time) when user picks up the device after it’s been idle for some time.
