HP has announced the release of its first Android based devices in India this week. Dubbed as Slate 21 and SlateBook x2, both the devices are powered by latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and will be available in country beginning next month.

In terms of specifications, HP SlateBook 10 X2 comes with 10.1-inch full HD display and packs 1.8GHz NVIDIA Tegra 4 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 64GB of internal media storage, and microSD card slot.

Powered by Android 4.2.2, it also includes rear and front cameras that are capable of recording 1080p and 720p videos respectively. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, an audio jack, 1xUSB 2.0 port, and HDMI port. Priced at INR Rs.39,990, HP SlateBook comes with a Asus Transformer like detachable keyboard.

On the other hand, HP Slate 21 is basically an All-in-One PC running on Android 4.2. Powered by 1.9 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor, it comes with 21.5-inch 1920×1080p IPS touchscreen display, 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, USB 2.0 ports, Bluetooth, DTS Sound technology, Wireless Direct and an HP TrueVision HD Webcam.

It will be available with a price tag of INR Rs.24,990 in India from August 15 next month.
