Samsung India has today announced the launch of 3 Android running Galaxy Tab 3 tablets in the country. Priced between 17,745 to 21,945, all these tablet will be available for purchase in the country from Sunday. Both the tablets were originally announced back in April and June respectively.
Actually the company has launched three variants of Galaxy Tab 3 tablets having 8-inch and 7-inch displays. According to the company, the 8-inch variant of Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 will come in two variants– Galaxy Tab 311 with 3G (voice and data) and Galaxy Tab 310 with Wi-Fi capability. Both the variants feature Android 4.2 and come powered by 1.5 GHz dual core processor and 1.5 GB of RAM. They also include 5 MP rear camera, 1.9 MP front camera, 16GB of internal memory, microSD slot for memory expansion up to 64GB, and 4450 mAh battery.
‘Multi Window’ in the 8” tab allows the user to work on two apps simultaneously by splitting the screen into two, like watching a movie or chatting at the same time. Pop up Video allows a small video window to be played over any part of the Tab’s Menu while ‘Reading Mode’ technology optimises the display to deliver perfect illumination and tone for comfortable paper like readability in different lighting conditions.
As far as 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is concerned, it runs on 4.1 Jelly Bean platform and packs 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor, 1 GB RAM, WSVGA display (168 ppi), 3MP rear camera, 1.3 MP front camera, 8GB of internal memory and 4,000 mAh battery. Its media storage can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card.
According to the company, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 311 is priced at 35,752 and the 310 version at 21,945.
