Propelling its MediaPad series to the next level, the Chinese manufacturer Huawei has unleashed a new Android based tablet today. Dubbed as Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth, it’s a voice-calling sported tablet which features 7-inch touch screen display and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform.

In a press blog, the company has revealed that the MediaPad 7 Youth tablet will arrive in the market this quarter in the regions like Russia, China, Asia Pacific, Middle-East and Europe.

Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth tablet is powered by 1.6GHz dual-core processor, Huawei’s own Emotion UI and includes a powerful 4,100 mAh battery.

Commenting on the product, Wang Yinfeng, Vice President, Home Connected Device Product Line, Huawei Device, said in a press release:

The MediaPad 7 Youth is a versatile tablet that provides an unsurpassed experience across hardware and software. Ideal for young people who are always on the move, the MediaPad 7 Youth delivers on Huawei’s promise to make extraordinary technology experiences accessible for all.

The company has not revealed the information related to included RAM, internal memory and display resolution regarding the slate as of now, but these are expected to be pretty descent. It is also said to have rear and front camera. It also supports connectivity features like 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. There is still no on pricing yet.
