If a report published in Mobile Geeks is to believed HTC is set to release its Samsung Galaxy Note 3’s rival HTC One Max phablet with large display in early September this year. The publication has extracted the information via their Taiwanese sources which are said to be familiar with the information.
Highlighting the specifications of HTC One Max, codenamed T6, Mobile Geeks quotes that it will come with 6-inch Super LCD 3 1080p display, 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 32/ 64GB of internal storage, and will be powered by latest Android version and 3,200 mAh battery.
So, if Mobile Geeks is true, and if the Taiwanese manufacturer has indeed set to launch HTC One Max in September, then it will be a perfect debut as well as great time to take on Samsung’s next generation Galaxy Note devices which is rumoured to be announced in IFA or early September, 2013.
The site also claims that HTC One mini, the stripped down version of HTC One phone, will be arriving in July, which is slightly in contrast with previous reports that had suggested an August release. Chances are that we will see the official announcement in late-July with the actual release in August.
