A Reddit user has revealed the specs of Google owned Motorola Mobility’s upcoming flagship Moto X smartphone which is getting closor to its announcement. As per the user, Motorola’s Moto X smartphone will come featured with 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8960 processor, Android 4.2, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 1280x720p display which are in line with evleaks who also leaked the specs last month.
We’ve also managed to get a promo video made by Canadian telecom operator Rogers in which some features of Moto X smartphone have also been highlighted. According to the telco, the Moto X smartphone is likely going to be released next month in Black and White colours on their network. A new rumour even suggests August 8 as the launch date of Moto X smartphone in U.S.
As you can see the video reveals that Moto X come with a new notification system that will show notifications on the screen of the phone rather than blinking a notification light or something. The phone also seems to sport a tweaked camera app that removes the need of a shutter or capture button and you can click anywhere on the screen to take a picture. Long-press will increase the count of the taken images (burst shot).
The phone will also come with a new voice command system (called Moto Magic), which is always on. This voice command system works with Google Now to answer user queries or perform tasks. You can check out a video and screenshot of Moto Magic below as well.
So now we’re pretty confident that Moto X smartphone is coming to the world next month, although there’s no official word on it.
