Quad-core phone maker XOLO has announced that it’s going to launch its first Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core powered smartphone named XOLO Play T1000 on coming July 15 this month. Priced at 15,999, the pre-booking of the smartphone has already been started at Flipkart and the retailer has confirmed that it will start shipping the product from July 15 with 1 year of manufacturer warranty. The smartphone was earlier rumoured to be announced back in May.
XOLO Play T1000 boasts 4.7-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixel) capacitive touchscreen IPS display and is powered by Google’s Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean operating system.

It packs 1.5 GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 quad core processor (4+1) with additional battery saver core along with 12 core Nvidia ULP GeForce graphics processor, 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of inbuilt memory. It’s powered by 2000 mAh battery with 11 hours of claimed talktime on a single charge, and also include a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB.
Among the other features, it has an 8 megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor, LED flash, 1080p video recording and a 2 megapixel front facing camera. It also comes with full HD video playback and support for Nvidia Tegra games through Nvidia TegraZone. Connectivity features of the smartphone include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB, and A-GPS.
