Karbonn has quietly launched its latest dual-SIM Android based smartphone in the Indian market today. Priced at 3,999, the smartphone is dubbed as Karbonn A50 and is available for purchase from e-commerce Saholic.com.
Featuring 3.5-inch HVGA display having 320x480p resolution and Android 2.3, the smartphone comes with the average specifications and is meant to build for entry-level and first time smartphone users.
Among the other features, it has 1GHz processor, 256MB RAM, 512MB of internal memory, microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB, and 1300 mAh battery. It also packs 3MP rear camera, along with the connectivity features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and EDGE.
We’ve observed a great contradiction between the retailer and the company regarding the information on OS on which the device is running. According to the retailer, Karbonn A50 is running on Android 4.0 ICS platform, on the other hand the company has listed it as Android 2.3 powered smartphone. As the official website is more likely to carry correct specs, we would suggest you to disregard the specs listed on Saholic.com.
