Samsung is scheduled to announce highly anticipated next generation Galaxy Note 3 on upcoming September 4, if a report published in technological blog Android Geeks is to be believed. According to the folks at the blog, they have got this information through their tipster who has confirmed that on September 4, just 2 days before the IFA show officially starts, Samsung will held an Mobile Unpacked event in Berlin where it will announce the Galaxy Note 3. The company will start sending out invitations to the tech press somewhere in August, their insider has added.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is reported to sport a large 5.7-inch display, latest version of Android, 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC and Adreno 320 GPU. It is rumoured to come in two variants with LCD and another one with OLED display. On the processor front, there will probably be two variant: one equipped with the Snapdragon 800 and another sporting Samsung’s own octo-core Exynos 5 Octa SoC clocked at 1.8 GHz.
