Nokia Asha 210, which was announced in the month of April this year, is going to be available in the country shortly. The prominent Indian e-commerce Flipkart has started taking pre-orders for the phone for 4,499 and lists the second week of July as the estimated release date.
Originally the smartphone was unveiled with dedicated Whatsapp key, but looks like the company has altered its plans and is prepping to bring the Facebook variant of the Asha 210 to India.
Sporting QWERTY keypad, Nokia Asha 210 is a dual-SIM smartphone featuring 2.4-inch LCD Transmissive display having 320 x 240 Pixels QVGA resolution. It has 2MP camera that can be accessed through a dedicated hardkey even when the keypad is locked. It comes with 32MB RAM and 64MB internal memory which can be expanded by up to 32GB via microSD card. It is powered by 1200 mAh battery and supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, EDGE and micro USB for connectivity.
Moreover, people can also share photos and other content by using Nokia’s innovative Slam feature, which comes built-in to the Nokia Asha 210. It works by enabling the transfer of content such as images or videos to another Bluetooth-enabled phone without the need to pair devices.
Nokia Asha 210 is available in Cyan, Yellow, Black, Magenta, and White colours.
