As reported, the home-grown phone maker Lava has released its latest smartphone named Iris 504Q equipped with gesture control technology at a press event held in New Delhi yesterday. Officially priced at 13,499, Lava Iris 504Q boasts 5-inch HD IPS 720p display with OGS technology and runs on latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean platform.
Apart from offering dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality, it packs 1.2Ghz MediaTek processor 1GB of RAM, 4GB internal memory and is powered by a long lasting 2000 mAh battery. It also includes 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and 2MP camera in the front. The primary camera of the smartphone is capable of capturing HD images and recording HD video at 1080p resolution. For connectivity, it features 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB OTG and GPS.
The gesture controls included in the phone enables user to change music or radio station, browse photo gallery and click photos just by hovering hand over the device. The phone has also support for Over the Air Software upgrade.
To sweeten the deal, Lava has partnered with Hungama to integrate Hungama’s Music Application that offers music tracks, music videos , trailers & dialogues; mobile content such as ringtones & wallpapers.
As per the company, Lava Iris 504Q will be available in the country starting 4th week of June via online and offline retail stores.
