After making its presence in countries like China, Malaysia and Thailand, Lenovo’s first Intel’s Clover Trail+ dual-core SoC powered K900 smartphone is now officially announced in India today. The announcement has been made in a press event held in New Delhi. As per the announcement, the smartphone will start arriving at the stores next month.
Originally showcased atCES this year, Lenovo K900 features 5.5-inch IPS display with 1920x1080p full HD resolution, Android 4.2, 2.0 GHz Atom Z2580 processor with PowerVR SGX 544MP2 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, out of which only 8.8GB is user accessible. It also has 13MP rear camera with Sony BSI sensor, front camera and 2500 mAh battery.

The India launch of K900 follows the phone’s debut in Malaysia and Thailand earlier this week. The smartphone is available now or very shortly in a total of eight markets globally and Lenovo is promising to release it in 10 more by the end of the year.
