Samsung has finally announced the launch of rumoured Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini-the stripped down version of wildly popular flagship Samsung Galaxy S4, today. With the launch of Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, the company is looking for a bigger share in the mid-tier segment as growth in the high-end market slows.
In terms of specifications Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini sports 4.3-inch qHD display and is powered by 1.7GHz dual-core processor.
Among the other features, it has Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS, 1.5GB RAM 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.9-megapixel front camera and 1,900 mAh battery.
As per the company, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini will be sold in White Frost and Black Mist colours. There is still no word on its pricing and exact availability, but it will come in different variants depending on the market like 4G LTE version or 3G HSPA+ version or 3G Dual-SIM version. The company is expected to reveal more information at a press event on June 20 where it will be showcasing this smartphone along with two more Galaxy siblings Galaxy S4 Active and Galaxy S4 Zoom.
