Several rumours related to the specs of Samsung’s upcoming smartphones Galaxy S4 Active and Galaxy S4 Zoom have been surfacing from past few days, and no one has come forward yet to reveal the final and real specs of these smartphones. Today, in an exclusive report, folks at Russian technological blog Hi-Tech.Mail.Ru have claimed that they have managed to get the actual and entire specs of these device via their tipster.
According to the website, Samsung Galaxy S4 Active will feature 5-inch Full HD (1080p) Super AMOLED display, 1.9GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB RAM, 8 Megapixel rear facing camera and a 2.1 Megapixel front facing camera, 2600 mAh battery and 16GB of internal storage. It will come with Bluetooth 4.0 + LE, Wi-Fi, NFC, IR Blaster and LTE support. The publication claims that the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active is a rugged smartphone with water and dust-proof capabilities.
As far as Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom is concerned, it will come packed with 4.3-Inch qHD (960×540) Super AMOLED display, 1.6GHz dual-core processor, 2GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 1900mAh battery. Being a camera centric phone, it will have 16 Megapixel rear camera shooter with 10x optical zoom and 1.9 Megapixel front facing camera. It will have Bluetooth 4.0 + LE, Wi-Fi for connectivity. There will be no LTE support for Galaxy S4 Zoom.
Both of these devices will be powered by latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Samsung’s own TouchWiz Nature UX layer on top of it. They will also feature microSD card slot for memory expansion.
Both of these devices, along with Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, are expected to be officially unveiled by Samsung at their PREMIERE 2013 GALAXY & ATIV event on June 20 in London, UK.
In the related news, Samsung is also working on the Galaxy Ace 3 smartphones and planning to launch it soon. This 3rd generation Galaxy Ace smartphones are reported to feature 4-inch display, latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, and 4GB of internal storage.
