LONDON : The most dominating internet search engine Google is aiming to have more female computer engineers to part gender gap in the software industry.

Google’s Co-Founder and CEO Larry Page in its I/O Conference ((May 15–17, 2013)) held at San Francisco (California) addressed the issue and announced to recruit more women employees to make sure the industry doesn’t get male only. He opined that more women and girls should be exposed to technology to accelerate progress of the society.

In a similar voice Google’s Vice President Megan Smith said :

Visibility of technical women has always been the company’s priority because in the past years women representation was low at the company’s developer conference. Part of the problem of having less female presence in the technology sector is the poor PR because women didn’t think the field is interesting or that they too can be good at it.
