Following the announcement of Amazon Appstore for Android, Amazon has today revealed in a press release that its Kindle Fire HD tablets are now ready and is going to be shipped to the consumers in over 170 countries from coming June 13 this year. Both 7-inch and 8.9-inch Kindle tablets can now be pre-ordered from Amazon’s official website.

In terms of specifications, Amazon Kindle Fire HD features 7-inch 1280x800p HD LCD with 2 point multi-touch, 1.2GHz dual-core OMAP4460 processor, 1GB of RAM and comes in 16GB and 32GB variants along with free cloud storage for all Amazon content. It also includes front HD camera, Dolby Audio, dual-driver stereo speakers, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and HDMI out.
On the other hand, Kindle Fire HD 8.9 comes with 1.5GHz dual-core OMAP4470 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16/32GB internal memory, 8.9-inch 1920x1200p full HD LCD display and a powerful 6,000mAh battery. Remaining specs are same as Kindle Fire HD.
