Following the way of other phone manufacturers, Lava, the indigenous phone maker has also announced its first quad-core processor powered smartphone in India today. Dubbed as Lava Iris 458Q, the smartphone sports 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen with FWVGA resolution and runs on latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS.

Priced at INR Rs.8,999, the Lava Iris 458Q packs 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 512MB RAM, 2000 mAh battery and comes with 4GB internal memory on-board with an option to expand the memory up to immense 32GB via microSD card.

Among the other features, it has 8 MP rear auto-focus camera with built-in flash, front VGA camera for 3G video calling. For connectivity, it comes with 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.
