Just a day before we reported about rumoured Sony Xperia UL, and now we’re hearing that the company has made the smartphone official. With the features like 5-inch 1080p full HD display, 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM, the Sony Xperia UL is reportedly scheduled to go on sale in Japan via telecom operator KDDI from May 25 this month in black, white and pink colours.
Sony Xperia UL comes powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS along with 16GB internal memory with an option to expand it up to 64GB via microSD card. On the camera front, it has 0.3MP front camera and 13.1MP rear snapper with AF support and LED flash. The smartphone gets its power from a 2,300 mAh battery.
For connectivity, Sony Xperia UL features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, NFC (FeliCa + TypeA / B), Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA (DTCP-IP support), infrared communication (IrDA) and GPS support.
Thers is still no word on its pricing and availability in other markets, but expect it will be revealed soon.
