WELLINGTON: The modern cars are getting more and more computerized and internet powered. This has made an easier driving for humankind but at the same time it has raised the risk of cyber attacks.
It is the new trend of car manufacturers to make cars with Internet and GPS and computerized controls. This has raised the ears of US based NHTSA. The administration believed that while computerized electronic controls in cars are helpful in vehicle safety but there is a continuous threat to their cyber security.
An infiltration in cyber security of a car can cause serious accidents. NHTSA will conduct a thorough research and study of computerized cars technology to develop a system to prevent crashes and accidents on road.
