As per schedule, Nokia has announced the launch of awaited Lumia 925 at a press event held in London today. Earlier rumored to be launched as Nokia Catwalk, Lumia 925 features 4.5-inch Pure Motion HD+ IPS capacitive touch screen ClearBlack display with 1280 × 768 pixels resolution and comes with metal band running around the body of the phone as you can see in the image.
It is powered by latest Windows Phone 8 OS and packs 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM,16GB internal memory and 2000mAh battery. The rear camera included in the phone is of 8.7MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and LED flash. The camera can capture 10 images at one click and record 1080p HD videos at 30fps. There is also an 1.2MP front camera which can record 720p HD videos as well. It supports wireless charging via wireless charging cover that can be clipped onto the back of the phone.
For connectivity, Nokia Lumia 925 includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi Bluetooth 3.1, GPS and NFC.
As per the company Lumia 925 is officially priced at 469 euro and is expected to be available from June in UK, Germany, Italy and Spain with Vodafone and other operator and retail partners, and in China with China Mobile and China Unicom, followed by the US with T-Mobile.
