Folks at Digitimes reporting that the prominent global smartphone manufacturers like HTC, Samsung and LG all are planning to launch their flagship devices in Q3 this year in order to compete with Apple’s forthcoming new iPhone scheduled to be announced in 2nd half of this year.
As per the publication, HTC is likely to launch its next-generation HTC Butterfly 2 with full HD display in the third quarter. Similar to HTC One, the flagship Butterfly is also reportedly said to come featured with BlinkFeed, UltrapPixel sensor and BoomSound speakers.
LG is also scheduled to release its next flagship LG Optimus G2, a successor of Optimus G in the third quarter this year. The phone is expected to come with 5-inch Full HD display powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.
As far as Samsung is concerned, the company is looking forward to release next flagship Galaxy Note 3 during the second half this year. The new flagship model is said to come with 5.99-inch Super AMOLED display supporting 1080p Full HD resolution and is own developed Exynos 5 octa-core processor.
