NEW DELHI: The Indian telecom operator Idea and the Chinese manufacturer of telecom hardware Huawei have collaborated to deploy optical fiber networks that can support a maximum transmission rate of as high as 8 Terabit Per Second.
The latest technique for deployment of large size data transmission is called DWDM which is widely used by telecom and broadband operators.

With 100G DWDM system, Idea is geared up for the data explosion in coming years. Idea has always been leading in new technology deployments and this is one more example of the same.
