The native phone maker Celkon has introduced its first quad-core processor powered smartphone in India. Dubbed as Celkon Signature HD A119Q, the smartphone will be available through snapdeal.com from coming May 15 across the country for 12,499.
Running on latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, Celkon A119Q Signature HD supports dual-SIM functionality and 5-inch IPS HD display with 1280x720p resolution. It is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core MTK 6589 processor alongside 1GB RAM and 4GB of internal memory(2.56 GB user usable memory).
On the imaging front, it includes 12 megapixel camera at the back and a 3MP front facing camera as well. In terms of connectivity options, the smartphones supports Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
With the smartphone, the company is also offering a flip-cover worth 1,500 free to the customers. In India, Celkon A119Q Signature HD will be competing with Micromax Canvas HD A116 and Karbonn Titanium S5. It beats Micromax A116 Canvas HD in terms of price, camera resolution and Android version although the remaining specifications are same. It has also an edge over Karbonn Titanium S5 with improved camera and Android version.
