The first Firefox OS powered smartphone is now available for purchase. A small Spanish company Geeksphone has started selling two smartphones named Keon and the Peak which are build for app developers especially. Made by the same company, both the smartphones are mid-range devices having average specifications.
Talking about the specs, Geeksphone Keon comes with 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 320×240 pixels, 1Ghz single-core Snapdragon S1 processor, 512MB RAM, 3MP camera and 1580 mAh battery.
On the other hand, Geeksphone Peak features 4.3-inch qHD IPS display and is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon s4 processor along side 512 MB RAM. It packs 8MP primary camera (along with a 2MP front-facing one), and a battery rated at 1800 mAh.
While Geekphone Peak is priced at 179 Euros (12,700 approx.), Keon is being sold for 110 Euros (7,800 approx.) by the company.
