Hackers yesterday managed to hack Twitter accounts of several CBS News Channels run by America’s most watched television network, CBS Broadcasting Inc.
The hackers then posted provocative headlines on those hacked Twitter accounts. These news headlines on clicking led to malicious websites. CBS News confirmed the report through its main Twitter account. The reported hacked Twitter accounts are @60Minutes, @40Minutes and @CBSDenver. Twitter with immediate effect has then suspended the account to avoid further malicious postings.
While I am writing this news, @CBSDenver is restored but @60Minutes and @40Minutes are still showing suspended.
