After launching the Desire P and Desire Q in Taiwan early this month, HTC has now announced a new mid-range smartphone Desire L for homeland. The smartphone is currently listed in its official Taiwanese website with unspecified pricing, but it is expected to carry an affordable price tag.
As per the specs listed in the company’s website, HTC Desire L boasts 4.3-inch Super LCD2 WVGA display with 480 X 800 pixel resolution, and is powered by Android v4.1 Jelly Bean backed by 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM and 4GB of internal memory.
Powered by 1800 mAh battery, the HTC Desire L also packs 5MP rear camera, microSD slot, Beats audio support and usual set of connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB slots and in-built GPS.
There is no word regarding its global launch outside the Taiwan, but as per speculation it might be launched in China, although there is nothing official now.
