As expected, Intex Aqua Wonder Quad Core, the Intex’s first quad-core CPU powered dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM) smartphone, is now official. Intex Technologies has officially announced the launch of the smartphone in India Today. Touted as the successor of Aqua Wonder, the smartphone is spotted listed in Flipkart with “coming soon” notification since the starting of this month, but with unspecified price. However it’s officially priced at 9,990 and speculated to hit the store beginning next week.
Talking about the specs, Intex Aqua Wonder Quad Core features a 4.5-inch capacitive 540×960 touchscreen with IPS panel screen technology. Running on Android v4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS, it is powered by MediaTek MT6589 quad-core processor, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
For imaging needs, there is an 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with dual LED flash and 2-megapixel one on the front. Other connectivity options include 3G video calling, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0.
Intex Aqua Wonder Quad Core has 1,800mAh battery that as per the company claims delivers a talktime of 3.5 hours and about 3 days of standby time. The smartphone comes with four sensors, namely Gravity, Motion, Light and Proximity sensors.
