Several reports surfacing on internet suggest that Samsung is preparing to launch its highly popular flagship device Galaxy S IV in India on upcoming April 25 this month. The smartphone is confirmed to be available in India from April 27, two days after the launch. Samsung had announced the Galaxy S IV on March 14 last month in NYC and the company, in a press release revealed that the device will start be available in India by the end of April or early May.
According to IBN Live, the Galaxy S IV will be debuted in India market on April 25, and will hit the stores from April 27. It also reports that, in India, the smartphone will be priced under 40,000, while its MRP will be around 42,000.
In the related news, folks at Mobile Indian report that the Galaxy S IV will go on from the first day of the launch itself as the retailers have confirmed them to have the stock on April 24. They have speculated that the phone will be priced at 39,000, although they’re not sure about the exact pricing. If the report of Mobile Indian turns out to be true, India will be the first country to get the Galaxy S IV, as all the information till now points towards Korea, US and other major markets getting the S IV on April 27.
As you know, the Indian version of Samsung Galaxy S IV is reported to feature high-end specifications including 5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, 1.6GHz Octa-core Exynos 5 processor, Android 4.2.2 with Touchwiz UI, 13MP rear camera with LED flash support, and 2MP front camera. The smartphone also equipped with a plethora of software customizations on-board including dual-camera, Smart Scroll, Smart Pause and Smart Stay, and Samsung WatchOn. The smartphone is also said to feature HP’s wireless printing solution that would let users to print documents, photos and web pages directly through over 200 printers across the HP inkjet and HP LaserJet portfolios.
