The rumours around the Apple’s 5th generation iPad has been surfacing from the past few months and various predictions have been made regarding the expected launch of iPad. Few rumours aired in the past suggested that the Apple’5 5th generation iPad may be launched by the end of April and in other rumour it had been speculated to be launched as late as October of this year.
But in new rumour, Digitimes reports that the Apple could start the production of 5th generation iPad in July-August this year. The publication has extracted this information from the sources with Taiwan-based supply chain makers.
According to the Digitimes sources, the 5th generation iPad will come with 9.7-inch display and slim bezel design similar to iPad mini. It is said to be thinner and lighter than the fourth-generation iPad. The tech-giant will reportedly use the display produced by LG Display and Sharp, while touch panels are expected to be adopted from TPK.
There is no other way to confirm if the rumour is true. Also there is no official comment from Apple regarding this rumour as the company has maintained no comment policy on future products like it use to do always.
