After unveiling the Iconia B1-A71 tablet at CES this year, Acer has announced a new iPad rival in the form of Iconia Tab A1-810 in European markets. The tablet is being sold at $259 in Europe, according to a French website named MiniMachines.net.
As per the website, Acer Iconia A1-810 features 7.9-inch IPS panel based display with 1024×768 pixel resolution. The company has included 1.2 GHz quad-core Mediatek MT8125 mobile processor, 1 GB RAM and 16 GB on-board storage in the tablet. There is Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS provided in the tablet. It also has a 5 megapixel camera at the back, 0.3 megapixel camera in the front and microSD card slot for memory expansion up to immense 32GB.
For connectivity, the tablet comes with WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Additionally it also features micro HDMI to connect the tablet to an HD display and micro USB port for charging. The tablet has been powered by a 3250 mAh battery.
There is no word regarding the launch of the tablet in other markets apart from Europe.
