Just 2-3 days ago, we reported Intex’s plan to launch Quad-core smartphone Aqua Wonder 2 under 10,000 in the country, and now looks like the unveiling of the smartphone is just around the corner. After looking listed in the Flipkart, we may be now sure to see the launching of Intex Aqua Wonder 2 (renamed Aqua Wonder Quad core) in few coming days. Intex Aqua Wonder Quad core will be the first Quad-core CPU powered smartphone launched by the company.
Touted as the successor of Intex Aqua Wonder, which was launched with 4.5-inch display, Android v4.1.1 Jelly Bean, 1GHz dual-core processor and 512MB RAM in February this year for 9,990, Intex Aqua Wonder Quad Core looks like the same as its predecessor in terms of design.
As per the specs listed in Flipkart, Intex Aqua Wonder Quad Core will have 4.5-inch qHD IPS display, dual-SIM (3G+2G) support, Android v4.1 Jelly Bean, quad-core CPU with unspecified clock value (perhaps 1.2GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6589 processor), 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal memory, 8MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, 2MP front camera, 1800 mAh battery and usual set of connectivity features like 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and A-GPS.
The smartphone is highly expected to be launched in the country next week on April 15 with the price less than 10,000. It will hit the stores from next week onward.
