At the starting of this month, we reported that Samsung is working on launching two Galaxy Mega phablets named Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Mega 6.3 soon this year. Today we managed to get some information regarding the specifications of these upcoming phablets via Sammobile and ETnews.com.
Folks at the Sammobile claim that Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 (GT-I9152) will have a 5.8-inch qHD display,dual-SIM support, Android Jelly Bean with their own Nature UX interface, 1.4GHz dual-core processor and 1.5 GB of RAM.
It will have 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera and usual set of connectivity options including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and A-GPS . Samsung Galaxy 5.8 will be powered by 2600 mAh battery.
Sammobile also reporting that Galaxy Mega 6.3 will be powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Exynos processor, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 1.5GB RAM and 3200 mAh battery. As the name suggests, the device will have a 6.3-inch LCD of unknown resolution. Among other features, we will get 8MP rear camera, and 2MP front camera in the device. As per the publication, the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 will come in two variants-with and without LTE support. Available in two black and white colors, it is expected to be launched around June/July this year.
