The indigenous phone maker Intex technologies is all set to launch the quad-core CPU powered Aqua Wonder 2 smartphone priced under 10,000 by coming 15 April. Apart from Intex Aqua Wonder 2, the company is also going to launch two more Android based smartphones powered by quad-core CPUs later this month, but they will be priced higher.
Intex Aqua Wonder 2 will be the company’s first Android based quad-core CPU powered smartphone. It is touted as the successor of Aqua Wonder smartphone, which was launched in February this year for 9,990 with 4.5-inch display, Android v4.1.1 Jelly Bean, 1GHz dual-core processor and 512MB RAM.
As far as the specs of the Aqua Wonder 2 are concerned, looks like, the company has only updated the processor from dual-core to quad-core. The remaining specs of the smartphone are looking the same as the Aqua Wonder.
Intex Aqua Wonder 2 is speculated to come featured with 4.5-inch display with qHD resolution, dual-SIM support, Android v4.1.1 Jelly Bean, 1.2GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6589 processor, 512MB RAM, 8MP rear camera with AF dual-flash, 1.3MP front camera, 1800 mAh battery, and 2GB of internal storage with microSD card slot.
