I recently got a chance to see some of Denis Peterson acrylic paintings and I was so so so amazed. I couldn’t believe at first that these are just paintings and not real photographs.

Denis is an American hyperrealist painter. He is such a master of his works that he doesn’t leave a single clue to suspect the realism of the subject of his works. Several of his hyperreal paintings have been put on exhibition at Brooklyn Museum (Brooklyn, New York City, USA), Whitney Museum of American Art (Madison Avenue, New York City, USA), Butler Institute of American Art (Youngstown, Ohio, USA), Tate Modern (Bankside, London, UK), Springville Museum of Art (Springville, Utah, USA) etc.

Here I am posting Backstretch Painting Series of Denis Peterson. I hope you will enjoy these pics as much as I liked them. Look closely at these acrylic paintings and you’ll be amazed with the superfine details that they portray.
