A new Galaxy smartphone has been announced in China today by Samsung. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Win (GT-I8552), the smartphone will go on sale in Chinese markets soon, although there is still no details available regarding its exact pricing and availability.
Talking about the specs, Samsung Galaxy Win comes with 4.7-inch WVGA TFT display and is powered by Android v4.1 Jelly Bean OS along with 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory and a powerful 2000 mAh battery. It also packs 5MP rear camera with LED flash support, 3MP front camera and microSD card slot.
Connectivity features of the smartphone include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS.
Apart from codename GT-I8552, Samsung Galaxy Win will also come with codename GT-I869 and GT-I8558 for other carriers. In China, the smartphone will come preloaded with China-specific apps like Sina Weibo and QQ along with Samsung’s ChatON messenger app.
