Two new mid-range smartphones from Chinese manufacturer Huawei are about to make their ways to India. Dubbed as Ascend Y300 and Ascend G510, both the smartphones have been spotted listed on pre-order in Flipkart with an expectation to be arrived in 2-3 coming days. Both the devices were showcased earlier this year at the MWC exhibition held in Barcelona.
Coming to the specs, running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, Huawei Ascend Y300 features 4-inch capacitive touch-screen IPS display with 800 X 480 pixels resolutions. It houses an 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm ARM Cortex-A5 processor along with Huawei Emotion 1.0 UI, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory, 5MP auto focus camera with LED flash, 0.3 MP front-facing camera and 1730 mAh battery. It is touted as the successor of Huawei Ascend Y210D which was announced earlier this year in India.
On the other hand, Huawei Ascend G510 comes powered with Android v4.1 Jelly Bean OS supported with 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8225 processor, 512MB RAM and 4GB internal memory. It features a larger 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display, 5MP auto focus camera with LED flash, 0.3MP front-facing camera and 1750mAh battery. It is just 9.9 mm thick and 150 grams in weight.
Apart from 32GB expandable memory support via microSD card, both the smartphones support 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, DLNA and GPS.
In terms of pricing, while Huawei Ascend Y300 is priced at 7,980, Ascend G510 comes with a price tag of 10,990. Both the devices are expected to go on sale later this week.
