Samsung has started providing Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy Note (GT-N7000) devices in the country. The update, which is quite large in size takes more than one hour to download. The update is available via Samsung KIES app only and there is no provision for OTA. To receive the update, connect your Galaxy Note to the PC and run the KIES to update the device.
Here is some screenshots of change-log of Galaxy Note after the Android Jelly Bean update:
As you can see in the change-log, apart from bringing Project Butter improvements, Google Now, new customizable notification area, Multi-View, Smart Rotation, Page Buddy, enhanced keyboard input, updated gallery app, and improved Pop-up Play, the Android jelly Bean update has also added Group Play and AllShare play features to Galaxy Note. Both the features are integrated part of recently announced next generation Galaxy S IV.
The company had started updating its existing Galaxy Note devices to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean globally from last month and it has only reached around 10-12 regions till now.
